Does Fountain Point Imaging Center accept my insurance?

We accept most major insurance providers including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and United Health Care. You may call your insurance company to inquire whether Fountain Point Imaging Center is a participating provider. As the insured, the insurance agreement is between you and your insurance company. 

Should I bring my insurance card with me to my appointment?

Yes. We file claims on your behalf as a courtesy. Bring your insurance cards, referrals and any authorizations with you so we have accurate information when filing your claim.

Will you file my insurance for me?

Yes, as long as we have the correct insurance information. If we do not, your account will become “self-pay” until we have the correct information.

Will my insurance cover services and tests?

As the insured, the insurance agreement is between you and your insurance company. Call the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire if a specific service will be covered. 

How will I know if my insurance company has paid a claim?

You should receive an Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company when payment has been processed. You may always call the business office at (605) 665-7841 to confirm an insurance payment. 

How do I follow up with my insurance company about a claim?

Contact your insurance company at the number listed on your insurance card.

What do I do if I disagree with a payment made by my insurance company on a claim?
